I'm a client-facing, feature driving data engineer. My mantra is that design drives code. Holistic, consistent, and data-driven design leads to scalable, maintainable, and reliable software. Nick Mamalakis Outstanding Eagle Award

Awarded April 2019

Awarded to two students in Georgia Southern that exemplify being a leader. This is the highest accolade awarded by Georgia Southern for service. I was awarded this for inventing and organizing a "reversed career fair." In this career fair many recruiters from around Georgia attended a series of presentations conducted by the top students in Georgia Southern's Computer Science, Information Technology and Engineering Programs. This event was deemed a huge success with many students receiving interviews and job offers immediately after.


Major International Peer-Reviewed Conference Publication

Awarded April 2019

My paper written on authentication schemes for IoT devices was accepted into a major international peer reviewed conference and later published onto IEEExplore in April, 2019. Awarded April 2019

Awarded to one graduating senior in Georgia Southern's Mathematics Department who showed the highest academic and extracurricular merit.


Computer Science and Information Technology Student Leadership Award

Awarded August 2018

Awarded to one student in Georgia Southern's Department of Computer Science or Information Technology who displayed a tremendous act of leadership. I was awarded this for arranging a series of colloquiums from local industry experts about the uses of software and mathematics in fine arts fields such as fashion and music.
